Our Manifesto
We believe that adult learning and development become truly deep and sustainable when there is space for self-reflection, visual expression, and the gradual building of professional identity.
Our art-based tools and facilitated learning processes support professionals in deepening their understanding of themselves, their roles, and their professional paths – all within a safe and creative environment.
Our goal is to create a complex set of programs and tools that contribute to renewing the culture of learning, both on an individual and organizational level.
For us, learning is simultaneously a bodily, emotional, and visual experience – a process in which participants not only think, but also create, feel, and connect. The spaces we create invite pausing, paying attention, and allowing a slow unfolding to happen.
Our Values
-
Time and slowness – respecting the natural rhythm of growth
-
Presence and attentiveness – holding space for what is happening right now
-
Sensing and visuality – making learning a multi-layered, lived experience
-
Community and dialogue – trusting in relationships and co-created meaning
-
Creative freedom – giving everyone the opportunity to find their own answers through making
I am Dr. Anett Papp DLA
– textile artist, biodesigner, visual artist,
and Senior Lecturer.

At the heart of everything I do is connection – to materials, to nature, to others, and to myself. I believe that making and learning are not separate processes: both are journeys of growth, where time must be given for the inner layers to unfold.
Through more than a decade of teaching in higher education and facilitating free, creative workshops for children, I have supported generations of artists, designers, and young people in finding their own voice, shaping their professional identity, and becoming aware of the values behind their choices. I have learned that true development begins when participants see and understand their own patterns.
I understand learning as an experience: a process that can be felt physically, visually, and emotionally, in which participants are the active creators of their own path. For me, learning is always a slow, sensitive, tangible process that quietly brings us closer to our own story. It is not frontal, not formulaic, and cannot be rushed – it is a process of growth that requires safe spaces and inspiring tools.
With MAP, I want to share this sense of attentiveness: creating a space where one can pause, go deeper, and allow the answers to emerge from within.
Dr Kovács Zsuzsa
I work as a lecturer and trainer, mainly in the fields of higher- and adult education.

Over the past years, I have been involved in numerous national and international projects with the aim of supporting teachers in strengthening their professional awareness and confidence.
These days, my main interest lies in adult learning and the ways we can best support it. I am curious to explore how, in our constantly changing world, learning situations can become joyful and meaningful experiences—especially for those who might initially feel a bit lost.
For me, it is essential to respect learners’ autonomy and personal freedom. I see learning as a partnership, one in which I am also continuously learning—from professional contexts as well as from everyday life.
I believe that learning is both a communal experience and a deeply personal, intimate journey. I find it especially inspiring when conversations spark new ideas, and when together with a group or an individual learner, we find common ground and move towards a shared goal.
I enjoy thought-provoking questions, even those that sometimes push boundaries. I see them as opportunities to spark reflective thinking—which, in my view, is both the starting point and the conclusion of every learning process.
Within MAP, I also work to create a professional environment that ensures safe, reflective, and self-discovering learning experiences for the participants.
